GREXIT UNCERTAINTY

Volatility in markets, caused by Grexit, is leading to security measures in some brokers.

They increased margins for trading in CFD’s.
It is now necessary more money to trade derivatives.
Here’s an example:

“The uncertainty surrounding the ongoing Greece debt negotiations is generating an increased volatility in the markets. On Sunday 5th July 2015 Greece will be requested to vote in a referendum about the approval or refusal of the austerity measures requested by the EU.
There is the possibility that this result could have a significant impact on the markets when they open on Sunday July 5th and Monday July 6th.
With this in mind, and with the usual aim of protecting its clients, ActivTrades might temporarily increase the margin required probably by 4 times in all the following instruments as of Friday 3rd July 2015 at 17:00 CET. In that event, a confirmation notice will be sent the same day by 12:00 CET, or earlier.
